Maardu has very varied housing. Kallavere consists mainly of Soviet-era apartment buildings, including two-, five- and nine-storey homes. Keemikute tn 12 was built in 1958 and Keemikute tn 4 in 1977. Apartment buildings are found on Kellamäe, Kallasmaa, Veeru, Ringi and Avar streets.

In Muuga and Järveäärne, unloading beside the house may be easier, but explain entrance, gate and path positions beforehand. Vehicle access does not remove the need to carry heavy boxes across the property or on stairs.
