Mustamäe has many apartment buildings from the second half of the 20th century. For example, Ehitajate tee 86 dates from 1964, E. Vilde tee 90 from 1967 and Sõpruse pst 214 from 1973. The material of an internal partition cannot reliably be established from the building's design series alone without checking.

Kitchen assembly is best planned after final measurements. The wall length on a plan may differ from the usable space because of tiles, pipes, projections and socket positions. Send a dimensioned kitchen plan, the number of upper and lower units and worktop details.

If the old kitchen is still in place, state whether dismantling it is part of the order. Assembling carcasses, fitting fronts and adjusting fittings are one part of the job; cut-outs, fitting individual elements and connections are discussed separately. This lets us agree the tools, schedule and scope beforehand.

In newer buildings on Pöörise, Mäepealse and Aiandi streets, bedroom, living-room and home-office furniture is often ordered together. It helps to start with the largest items, such as wardrobes and beds, while keeping a route clear for the remaining boxes. Take account of finished skirting boards, sockets, doors and any building restrictions on drilling.

For furniture with tall fronts, check the route from the entrance to the apartment beforehand. A photo of the lift or a stair turn can be more useful than the floor number alone.

Tell us whether the furniture is by the entrance door, in a vehicle or already in the room. If packages need carrying inside or upstairs, give their approximate dimensions and quantities. Also mention narrow corridors, rooms that provide access to other rooms and any space that needs clearing before installation.
