Tabasalu has homes from different periods. Kase street retains apartment buildings from the 1970s and 1980s: Kase tn 8 was built in 1973 and Kase tn 12 in 1985. A newer example is Kalda tn 18 (2010).

The Tabasalu Kodu neighbourhood on Mürsiku street has smaller apartment buildings and terraced homes. Mürsiku tn 2 and 4 date from 2022. Older summer cottages and former summer villas are found near Ranniku tee and Tammede allee. Assembly may therefore take place in a new apartment or require consideration of a much older house.
