Furniture assembly in Saku, Harju County

Saku has many low-rise homes of different ages. The older scientific settlement retains mid-20th-century apartment buildings, including on Uus-Saku street. Pargi street has brick buildings from the 1960s and 1970s: Pargi tn 6 was built in 1964, Pargi tn 8 in 1963 and Pargi tn 10 in 1971. Teaduse street includes five-storey buildings, while Näituse and Tiigi have single-storey apartment buildings and terraced homes.

Newer Saku addresses include Pargi tn 31 (2008), Niidu tn 1 (2013), Nurme tn 62 (2016) and Tuule tn 11/2 (2019). There are also established terraced-home neighbourhoods around Tamme tee and Sambla tee. The settlement name alone therefore does not describe room dimensions or access to the assembly space.

For a tall wardrobe in an older home, we check the actual wall alignment, floor levels and ceiling clearance. Renovations may have added skirting boards, wall finishes or partitions. For a wardrobe spanning the wall, measure its width at floor level, midway up and higher.

For wall shelves and kitchen cabinets, the fixing surface must be established at the particular position. Brick external walls do not mean that all internal partitions have the same construction. The fixing method is agreed according to actual conditions.

In a Saku terraced home, assembly may be needed on different levels. Check beforehand whether long wardrobe doors and worktops can pass along the stairs. If furniture has been delivered to the entrance but belongs upstairs, mention this when booking.

In a small room, assemble a large wardrobe and bed before positioning the table and dresser. This keeps working space available without moving an assembled carcass. Send measurements and photos for furniture in a recess or under a sloping roof.

We assemble kitchen cabinets, fit fronts and drawers, and adjust hinges. Prepare the module plan, finished kitchen dimensions and extractor, socket and water connection positions. Accurate measurements after finishing work are particularly important for corner units or tall cabinets.
